I’m a Glutton for Gigs
September 25, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Just a quick note to say how cool it is that storage is getting cheaper and cheaper. I just bought an 8 gig flash drive today at staples for $29. Add this to my PC, laptop, 2 500 gig external drives and one 300 gig, and you get a whopping total of…I don’t know, I went to Bible college.

Encouragement (From the Scriptures)
September 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Here’s a video I’ve wanted to do for a long time. In fact the script was saved on an OLD computer that I had to fire up, just to get it off of it. The idea has been there for a long time. This type of cropping video is hard to pull off. Maybe that’s why I procrastinated so much on it. My mic setting wasn’t ideal (I didn’t select the shotgun setting). I did the best I could in noise reduction, but missed perfection for sure. Since I didn’t have my normal light setup, I was at the mercy of the sun and clouds through the large windows. This is noticeable if you know what you’re looking at. I’d have to redo everything to fix these details.
Inspite of all of this, I sincerely hope that this video will help people. May God bring this message to those who need it!

Human Editing is SO much better!
September 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment
As promised I did a more intentional edit of my surf footage of Hurricane Ike’s waves on South Padre. The first video I put up on youtube was a quick job done in Muvee AutoProducer. Automatic editing will never replace human intelligence. It’s like translating an important document in Babel Fish or Dictionary.com. Humans still beat computers in some fields. This edit was made into a 5 min. countdown for sermonspice.com.

Surfing Hurricane Ike
September 13, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Here’s some footage I shot at South Padre Island. I didn’t surf, I just filmed. Later I’ll do a more intentional edit, this is some auto edit stuff from the software Muvee Auto Producer 6.1.
